Void is meant to portray the constant loneliness of a black man.
Lost in my thoughts, I find myself in an abyss where nothing can be found. It is not something that happens rarely or in a precise moment, it just consumes me all of a sudden. The distance felt from my culture as a Portuguese man with deep Cape Verdean roots is something that many can relate to. It was important for me to portray it with my grandmother as she played a huge role in my life.
